K-12 Ocean Science Education Resources

CORE’s involvement in pre-college education focuses on management of the National Ocean Sciences Bowl and network level activities for the Centers for Ocean Sciences Education Excellence initiative.

CORE’s activities in the pre-college arena have included the production of a position paper on K-12 education, the organization of a national workshop on the topic and the compilation of an inventory of K-12 marine education programs.
